Find the best time to visit Steveston
Each season brings a different mood to Steveston, but also different activities and experiences.

Spring
Spring arrives early to Steveston with plum blossoms blooming in March. Whale watching begins in April. In May, the Spot Prawn Festival excites foodies while the Japanese cherry and Pacific crabapple blossoms bring magic to Garry Point Park.

Summer
Steveston is abuzz all summer, especially on weekends. The hot, dry weather and late night sunsets are perfect for being outside. Enjoy fish and chips on the water or drinks on the patio. Visit on July 1st for the Steveston Salmon Festival.

Fall
October is when the fall foliage begins to show its colours and when the village embraces Thanksgiving and Halloween. Darker days and rainy skies greet November, which is perfect for exploring heritage sites and museums.

Winter
Winter is dark and damp, but snow is rare. Festive lights, decorations, and events brighten up the village in December. January and February are dormant, perfect for staying cozy inside the cafes, bookstores, and boutiques.
